Music Industry Recording Arts (MIRA) student Eliana Blanchard is making headlines in the Florida music scene. Several weeks ago she was featured with her band, The Real Clash of the Titans, on the cover of Creative Loafing. Now, she has been featured, solo, in the local magazine FL411.
The article gives a brief overview of her background and comes present to the many projects that she is working on. Here is an excerpt from the article:
“Eliana Blanchard holds down the microphone with a deep, sultry voice. Her diverse vocal range hints of a blues and reggae background. In Perfect Rhythm Shane Evans, on the drum kit, and Theodore Jenkins, on the base, jam along. They try to match Blanchard’s organized noise as she scats out a tune. It’s obvious Blanchard enjoys surrounding herself with talented people, welcoming influential musicians from all genres”.
Blanchard is currently working towards her AS degree in Music Industry Recording Arts. She also performs around the bay area with her bands, The Real Clash of The Titans and Gods and Generals.
