Chicago Cubs first baseman and former SPC star Bryan LaHair was featured this week in the Tampa Bay Times. LaHair was in the minors for 10 years and now has more homers than fellow first basemen Albert Pujols and Prince Fielder. The Tampa Bay Times, Bay News 9 and FPBS and its member stations will present a debate for Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate that will be broadcast live to a statewide audience from the Palladium Theater. The debate is scheduled for July 26. Free tickets to the debate will be available to the public at the Palladium box office in early July. The Times, Bay News 9 and the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported on the upcoming debate.
